Stopko je logická hra s dedukčnou tabuľkou. Dostanete krátky príbeh, tabuľku a zoznam indícií, a z nich sa dá odvodiť, kto má čo.

Ako sa hrá

• Ťuknutím na políčko sa strieda prázdne → ✕ → ✓.
• ✕ znamená „táto dvojica k sebe nepatrí", ✓ znamená „patrí".
• Po zaškrtnutí ✓ hra sama preškrtne zvyšok riadka a stĺpca. Dá sa to vypnúť v nastaveniach.
• Ťuknutím na indíciu ju preškrtnete, keď ste ju už použili.
• Hádanka je vyriešená, keď je v každom riadku každej dvojice kategórií jediná možnosť.

Nápoveda

Prvé ťuknutie na Nápoveda povie, ktorá indícia rozhodne o ďalšom políčku, a políčko zvýrazní. Druhé ťuknutie ho vyplní. Ak máte niekde chybu, nápoveda ju ohlási skôr než čokoľvek iné — každá ďalšia rada by inak stavala na nepravde.

Musím niekedy hádať?

Nie. Každá hádanka prešla solverom, ktorý ju vytvoril, a ten overil dve veci: že sedí presne jedna odpoveď a že sa k nej dá dôjsť čistým odvodzovaním. Ani jedna indícia nie je navyše — keby ktorákoľvek z nich chýbala, hádanka sa doriešiť nedá. Ak nájdete hádanku, kde to neplatí, napíšte nám jej číslo a opravíme to.

Tabuľka sa mi nezmestí na obrazovku

Väčšie tabuľky sa posúvajú do strán — názvy riadkov ostávajú na mieste. Tlačidlami − a + nad tabuľkou sa dajú políčka zmenšiť alebo zväčšiť.

Zle sa mi to číta

V nastaveniach je prepínač Vyšší kontrast, ktorý zhrubne čiary medzi kategóriami a stmaví text. Vzhľad sa dá prepnúť na svetlý alebo tmavý nezávisle od systému.

Stratil sa mi postup

Postup je uložený len v zariadení, takže sa neprenáša medzi telefónom a tabletom a odinštalovaním sa stratí. Zálohu na server nerobíme, pretože hra nemá server.

Potrebujem internet?

Nie. Všetkých 400 hádaniek je súčasťou aplikácie.

Stopko is a logic grid deduction puzzle. You get a short story, a grid and a list of clues, and from those you can work out who has what.

How to play

• Tapping a square cycles blank → ✕ → ✓.
• ✕ means "these two do not go together", ✓ means "they do".
• Placing a ✓ crosses out the rest of its row and column for you. You can switch that off in settings.
• Tap a clue to strike it through once you have used it.
• The puzzle is solved when every row of every pair of categories has one possibility left.

Hints

The first press of Hint names the clue that settles the next square and highlights the square. A second press fills it in. If something on the board is wrong, the hint says so before anything else — every later hint would otherwise be reasoning from a false premise.

Do I ever have to guess?

No. Every puzzle was checked by the solver that built it, and the solver proved two things: that exactly one answer fits, and that you can reach it by pure deduction. No clue is spare either — cover any one of them and the puzzle can no longer be solved. If you find a puzzle where that is not true, send us its number and we will fix it.

The grid does not fit on my screen

Larger grids scroll sideways, and the row labels stay put while they do. The − and + buttons above the grid make the squares smaller or larger.

It is hard to read

Settings has a Higher contrast switch that thickens the lines between categories and darkens the text. Light and dark can be chosen independently of the system setting.

I lost my progress

Progress is stored only on the device, so it does not move between a phone and a tablet, and uninstalling removes it. There is no server backup, because the game has no server.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. All 400 puzzles ship inside the app.
